What is Soft Tissue Therapy

Soft tissue therapy refers to a range of manual therapy techniques used to treat musculoskeletal pain and dysfunctions that are related to the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia. The goal of soft tissue therapy is to reduce pain, increase range of motion, and improve overall function by addressing the underlying causes of soft tissue problems, such as tension, strain, or injury. Some common techniques used in soft tissue therapy include massage, stretching, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release. Soft tissue therapy may be used alone or in combination with other forms of treatment, such as chiropractic or physical therapy.
